Real estate has long been perceived in India as an unstructured and unregulated industry, but the credit of improving this outlook can go to Rohtas Goel, who has always stuck by what was originally quoted to his client.

Since elected by his peers in December 2007 as President of the National Real Estate Development Council, Rohtas Goel is well-placed to address those issues as well as other important matters of national interest, such as Affordable Housing. “My vision is to create Real Estate Development Council (REDCO) in every state of India and a collective body seeking support from Central and State Government to remove obstacles that the real estate industry is facing today.” says Rohtas Goel. 

With his feet firmly on the ground, his eyes are already on the future. While riding the real estate boom, Rohtas Goel is now also expanding its wings into the infrastructure sector.

Rohtas Goel has been honored and rewarded by many institutes and organizations.

Among the awards received, he has been titled with the “Pride of Country” award by the Society of Industrial Business Achievement, New Delhi.  Rohtas Goel is also the recipient of the “Achiever of the Millennium” award by All India Achievers Conference, New Delhi.

Being a leading light in his field, Rohtas Goel has been admitted to membership of major associations such as CII, FICCI, PHD Chambers of Commerce and AIMA and is regularly invited to speak at seminars and conferences, in India and abroad.

Rohtas Goel has always endeavored to work for the betterment of society. As par with Omaxe’s Corporate Social Responsibility, he has created Omaxe Foundation, a Non-Profit Society with the mission to act as enabler, catalyst and partner of organizations and individuals who dream of making a difference. Omaxe Foundation drives to achieve lasting improvement in the quality of life of the deprived through a process that identifies opportunities and builds relationships for greater understanding and promotes rights of all men, women, and children, thus creating a critical mass of social capital. Omaxe Foundation is presided by Mrs. Sushma Goel.

Diplomatic
Considering Rohtas Goel's social commitments & status in the society, the President of Republic of Congo, His Excellency Denis Sassou Nguesso, has appointed Rohtas Goel as the Honorary Consul of the first Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Congo in India. In line with India renewed emphasis on Africa as highlighted by the first India-Africa Summit in April 2008, Mr. Goel work towards the betterment of understanding and relations between the Republic of Congo and India and the development of trade and investments.
