Omaxe bags orders worth Rs 128.34 Crores
New Delhi; 17th June, 2009: Omaxe Infrastructure & Construction Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Omaxe Ltd, today announced that it has received an order worth Rs 128.34 Crores (approx.) from UP Projects Corporation Limited (a UP Government Undertaking) for modernization of three projects in Orissa.
The scope of work includes modernization of ESI Hospitals in Bhubaneswar and Cuttak. The estimated cost for modernization of ESI Hospital, Bhuwneswar is Rs 63.04 crore to be completed in 18 months while the ESI Hospital in Cuttak would entail a total investment of Rs 59.35 crore with completion period of 18 months. The third in line, the regional office in Bhuwneswar would be completed in 10 months.
Omaxe has big plans to enter into the infrastructure sector and recently the company had participated in bids and tenders on various infrastructure projects. Earlier last year the company had bagged orders to develop a hospital in Saharanpur and development of Andhra Bhawan at New Delhi under its Infrastructure arm. The company had also been awarded contracts by Punjab Government last year for the Construction of Modern Jail at Kapurthala & Faridkot for a total value of Rs 210 crore.
